Boulder County Latina Women’s League Scholarship
2012-2013 BCLWL Scholarship Application
The mission of the Boulder County Latina Women’s League (BCLWL) is to help increase the graduation rate of young men and women who are graduating from high school and seeking a college degree. Award Criteria: applicant must be planning to attend college for the academic year 2012-2013, demonstrate a commitment to the Latino community, a Boulder Valley School or St. Vrain Valley School District graduating student.

Boulder High School Links Scholarship
The Boulder High School Links scholarship was funded in 2008. The recipient is chosen by the Boulder High School Links program coordinators. $1,000 is awarded to one student. Impact on Education is honored to administer the Boulder High School Links Scholarship.

Gould-Foothill Scholarship
2012-13 Gould – Foothills Scholarship Application
Established in 1984 by James & Bernice W. Gould. The applicants are selected by a committee appointed by Impact on Education. $1,500 awarded per year for 4 years. Award Criteria: One male & one female; Boulder High graduate and must pursue a degree as an elementary school teacher.

Independent Order of Odd Fellows
Founded in Baltimore, Maryland in 1819, this organization has been organized for the purpose of giving aid to those in need and supporting those pursuing projects for the benefit of mankind. As the first American fraternity to include both men and women, Odd Fellows also pioneered by becoming the first fraternal organization to establish homes for seniors and orphaned children. The Boulder chapter annually budgets $10,000 to fund $1,000 renewable scholarships to qualifying BVSD high school seniors. Impact on Education is honored to administer the Independent Order of Odd Fellows Scholarship.

Rick Sinner Scholarship
Established by Dave Blessing, a Boulder High School teacher in memory of Rick Sinner a past Boulder High School teacher. The graduate is chosen based upon economic need as well as the pursuit of art studies at any accredited college or university or recognized art institute. $400 awarded to 1 student. Impact on Education is honored to administer the Rick Sinner Scholarship.

Congratulations to 2011 Recipient: Clara Bertness
The Sally Smyth Scholarship Award was established by her husband, Clark and their children, Clark A. and Jennifer Smyth. This award is in honor of Sally Smyth’s many years of dedication, contribution and service to education in Boulder Valley Schools. The scholarship provides $20,000 ($5,000 per year) to one Boulder High School graduate. The counseling staff of Boulder High School will make the final determination of who will receive the scholarship. Qualifying applicants must provide evidence of financial need. The intent of this scholarship is to allow the student to fully participate in the college experience. Impact on Education is honored to administer the Sally Smyth Scholarship. Dennie & Donna Wise Scholarship
2012-13 Wise Scholarship Application
Established by Dennie Wise and his children in memory of Donna. The scholarship annually awards a $1,000 two-year scholarship. Award Criteria: qualifying BVSD high school seniors for post-graduate study at vocational, community or technical colleges. Impact on Education determines the number of scholarships awarded each year.
