Volunteering

VOLUNTEERING
As our success has grown, so has our reach...and our need.
With its small staff, Impact on Education leverages its results through the efforts of hundreds of volunteers who evaluate/score teacher grants, plan fundraising events, assemble backpacks, supplement staff skills and directly work with students in high-needs schools.

Help Decide Which Projects We Fund!
Support teachers and marvel at their creativity

Impact on Education involves the community in its Classroom Mini-Grants program by utilizing volunteers to evaluate hundreds of teacher grants for creative classroom projects. Volunteers evaluate applications using an online process. Readers commit 1-2 hours of time in mid-October.

Round Out Our Skills!
Opportunities to help…let us count the ways

We need volunteers to help us with grant research and application writing; improving our Microsoft Access database; organizing large projects; calling supporters to verify contact information; conceptualizing a planned giving campaign; improving our outreach communications with schools; and public relations. Shall we go on? If you have a passion for education, and four to eight hours a month to volunteer , we will find the right opportunity!
