Why I work at Impact on Education:
Everyone deserves the opportunity to thrive and succeed. Education and health are two keys to a bright future. That’s why I’ve focused my career working for organizations that advance both. I’m passionate about service and social justice.
What makes me smile:
Coffee, exploring new places, time in nature, being active, and making and admiring art
Favorite teacher:
I’ve been lucky enough to have many incredible teachers. Ms. Ebert stands out as one of my favorites. She led with warmth and a no-nonsense approach. She taught me the power of a great story and that you can command attention without being the loudest in the room.
More about me:
When I was younger, I wanted to be an artist. But thanks to fantastic mentors in college, I discovered another passion — public health. Drawn to the community and equity focus, I pursued a BS in Health and Wellness Promotion, with a minor in sociology, and an MSPH in Health Policy and Management. Now, I combine the best of both worlds — using my creative talents to cultivate healthy communities through education.
Ask me about:
Reality TV (specifically anything on Bravo), my French bulldog, or public health
