Impact on Education is a nonprofit foundation supporting nearly 28,000 students and 4,000 educators across 56 public schools in Boulder Valley School District (BVSD). Our mission is to support Boulder Valley public school students with community funding and resources in order to meet critical needs and eliminate opportunity gaps.
BVSD has one of the widest and most persistent opportunity gaps in the state, so we prioritize programs and investments that serve low-income and historically marginalized students. Our work engages students and empowers educators to ensure students have access to the resources they need, when they need them.

About the Role
The Office Manager is a key member of our team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our office and supporting the staff in achieving our organizational goals. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and desire to continue learning and improving our systems and processes.
Impact on Education’s offices are located in Louisville, Colorado. This is a hybrid position with three in-office days per week (Mondays and Wednesdays required, a third day negotiable), and two remote days per week. There are times when we may work on evenings or weekends to support IOE programs and outreach events.
Key Responsibilities
Office Administration:
- Manage daily office operations, including supplies and equipment maintenance.
- Assist staff with troubleshooting office systems and equipment.
- Maintain organized electronic and paper filing systems for efficient document management.
- Coordinate office cleaning, maintenance, and repairs.
- Foster a positive organizational culture by managing staff and board recognition and appreciation
Communication and Coordination:
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external communications.
- Schedule and organize meetings, events, and volunteer activities.
- Prepare meeting agendas, materials, and presentations.
- Assist with logistical support for special events and outreach activities.
Bookkeeping Support:
- Perform basic bookkeeping tasks and maintain accurate financial records.
- Support grant-related reporting and financial documentation.
Outreach and Fundraising Support:
- Assist with publishing online and digital content.
- Help coordinate logistics for fundraising and outreach meetings and events.
- Attend outreach events and support donor, partner, and volunteer appreciation communications.
Program Support:
- Assist in collecting and organizing program data for reporting purposes.
- Support program staff with administrative program-related tasks

Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times

About You
Qualifications:
- Education – associate or bachelor’s degree in business administration, nonprofit management, or a related field; equivalent work experience can be substituted.
- Experience – 2+ years of experience in office management or administrative support.
- Demonstrated Skills
- Organized and able to prioritize work effectively to meet deadlines
- Executing tasks with little or no supervision
- A team player who is proactive, energetic, and hardworking
- Ability to handle confidential information with the utmost discretion
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google suites
Desired Competencies:
- Basic bookkeeping knowledge
- Familiarity with Asana or similar task/project management software
- Passionate about our mission and public education
- Bilingual (English and Spanish)
