We’re proud to announce that 11 seniors across the Boulder Valley School District have been awarded scholarships — a $49,000 investment — to pursue higher education this fall.
IMPACT ON EDUCATION, THE FOUNDATION FOR BOULDER VALLEY SCHOOLS
The success of BVSD students sometimes requires more than schools and teachers are able to provide during the day, and this is where Impact on Education steps in. For almost 40 years we’ve supported the 30,000 students and 4,000 educators in the Boulder Valley School District.
With a focus on increasing equity and closing opportunity gaps, our work supports BVSD students from preschool to graduation, and every step along the way.

ATTEND A GAME
The Colorado Avalanche and CU Buffs football invite the BVSD community to games throughout the fall. A portion of each ticket is donated to Impact on Education.

Impact on Education scholarship recipient Xiomara Portillo has spent much of her life watching the care and compassion of others make a difference in her family’s life. Now, she hopes to pass that on.
Career exploration in BVSD: How students are dreaming big early
With funding from Impact on Education, career exploration “Dream” programming is rolling out across the Boulder Valley School District — inspiring youngsters from pre-K to eighth grade to explore professional possibilities.
This first-gen grad found her way. Now she helps BVSD students find theirs.
Katelyn was the first person in her family to graduate from high school or college. Now, as a successful professional in the tech industry, she’s passing on what she’s learned to BVSD students to help them prepare for their futures.
