Impact on Education partners with community leaders to help underrepresented high school students practice interview skills
Our Career Readiness Academy teaches students how to find and communicate their strengths in order to attain professional opportunities
WHAT:
The Career Readiness Academy is a series of eight after-school workshops for high school students. Over 50 sophomores and juniors are participating in the academy with cohorts at three BVSD high schools – Boulder High School, Centaurus High School and New Vista High School.
Each workshop has a different learning objective and is delivered in partnership with industry and community professionals. Our mock interview sessions welcome community members to run practice interviews with student participants. We’re opening up the Boulder High School mock interview session for a behind the scenes look at what students are learning about themselves and their futures.
