Why I work at Impact on Education:
I believe that now, more than ever, it’s critical to invest in the education of our youth. Education is the great equalizer, providing opportunities for growth, expansion, and a brighter future. By giving back to our community and enriching the lives of students, we can make a profound difference in creating a more equitable society. It’s a privilege to contribute to a mission that strengthens our community and empowers the next generation.
What makes me smile:
An iced chai latte, the vibrant colors of a Colorado sunset, dipping my toes in any body of water, losing track of time thrifting, creating quirky pieces of jewelry, and spontaneous road trips with a great playlist.
Favorite teacher:
My 5th-grade teacher, Mrs. Bresnahan, was the first educator who truly saw me as a whole person. In her classroom, I didn’t feel like just another student; my worth was never tied solely to the quality or quantity of my homework and projects. She went beyond being a teacher; she advocated for my needs. Mrs. Bresnahan encouraged curiosity, celebrated individuality, and always found ways to make learning engaging and fun.
More about me:
Born and raised in Colorado, I have a profound appreciation for the mountains and the rich history of my home state. When I’m not organizing systems or supporting my team, you’ll likely find me immersed in nature, wandering through a museum, or diving into creative pursuits.
Ask me about:
Fun activities and hidden gems in Colorado, my favorite thrift stores/antique malls, anything astrology, or my most recent creative obsession.
