BVSD Board of Education Candidate Forum

In partnership with the BVSD District Parent Council, Impact on Education, and the League of Women Voters Boulder County, we provided the community the opportunity to learn about the candidates running for the BVSD Board of Education.
Together We Shine

Our 2023 gala was an incredible way to commemorate our 40th Anniversary and engage the community in support of public education. From the game show and remarks from Governor Polis to our wonderful speakers and the 5280s Band, the evening reminded us how important – and fun! – it is to celebrate success.
2023 Impact Awards

We held our 30th Annual Impact Awards celebration on May 3. This event honors an educator from each school in the Boulder Valley School District, and awards both an early career educator and longtime educator with individual awards. Thank you to everyone who joined us!
Community Conversation

Bid for a Good Cause
November 18-30, 2022
Impact on Education invited our community to shop local and support Boulder Valley public schools. Our online auction featured items and experiences generously donated by partners and friends in the community who are proud to support our students.
Parent Partnership Summit
October 20, 2022
We invited PTO and PTA leaders across BVSD to a Parent Partnership Summit last month to help them strengthen their fundraising efforts and connect with other parent leaders to grow their impact in our schools. Representatives from the NAACP Boulder County shared resources and ideas for implementing or strengthening school DEI committees before a Q&A session with BVSD superintendent Dr. Anderson about upcoming needs and current district issues.
Together We Build

We are humbled by the outpouring of support we received at our annual gala, Together We Build. From the family style dining experience to the lively conversations to raising 56 paddles for our 56 schools, the evening was centered around community. Together we raised over $300,000 to help students build resilience, confidence and their path to success.

This annual event looked a little different in 2022 — Impact on Education is partnered with BVSD to recognize educators and staff from across the district at Christian Recht Field. 58 impactful educators were recognized, along with our Lifetime Achievement Award winner, Lisa Cech, and our Early Educator Award winner, Anahi Quintana.
Bid for a Good Cause

The community joined Impact on Education for a virtual auction offering top-rated wines from around the world, fine dining experiences and more! The event was a great way to kick off your holiday shopping and an opportunity like none other to support Boulder Valley’s public schools and students.

Together We Climb

At our annual gala, Together We Climb, we welcomed community members to join us both in person and virtually in support of public education. Together we raised nearly $250,000 to support our local public schools!
Impact Awards 2021

In a normal school year, this is the time we recognize one individual from each school with an Impact Award. This, however, is not an ordinary school year, so we decided to recognize the entire BVSD community’s continued commitment to education.
Holiday Book Drive
Nov. 30 – Dec. 14, 2020
Our goal was to collect 1,500 books to stock the bookshelves at the Share-a-Gift annual Holiday Toy Shop for BVSD families, but we collected well over 6,000 books in just two weeks!
Virtual Auction
November 16-30, 2020
We turned our annual in-person fundraiser at Frasca Food & Wine into a virtual auction offering one-of-a-kind dining experiences, top-rated wines from around the world, and more!
Together We Bloom
August 6, 2020
Over 300 people joined together virtually to support the students of Boulder Valley public schools. Thank you to our attendees, auction donors and sponsors for coming together to help us raise nearly $240,000 for the Critical Needs Fund.

Impact on Education supports students in Boulder Valley public schools with supplemental funding and resources in order to address critical needs and opportunity gaps.
