Impact on Education relies on the support of community partners who, like us, believe in the potential of all students and understand the importance of strong schools to a strong local economy. We rely on these partnerships to help us engage students and empower educators across the Boulder Valley School District. When the community support public education, we can work together to strengthen the Boulder Valley School District.
With $68,000 awarded this month, we’ve now invested over $245,000 through 145 Academic Opportunity Fund grants that will support students and educators at 38 schools across the district.
Students from Centaurus High School, Boulder High School and New Vista High School will participate in a series of after-school workshops to help them find and communicate their strengths in order to attain professional opportunities.
Did you know the Boulder Chamber has identified workforce development as a priority need for local employers? Expanding career and college readiness opportunities for BVSD students will give them the credentials they need for success and will bolster our local workforce.
